Islam in our Backyard

I've just finished reading this book which was really very useful. It's as much an introduction into thinking about worldview, religious pluralism and post-modernism as it is about Islam.

The analysis of Islam, which is why I read the book is interwoven with a story about a chap in suburban Sydney and his neighbour just after 9/11. This it an easy and engaging to read. It's very short, not much over 100 pages. I think it won Christian book of the year a couple of years ago in Australia.

Does this sound like an advertisment? It's meant to. I think it's so important that people hve a clear understanding of what Muslims believe.
