Last night we saw 'The Last Confession' at the Theatre Royal Haymarket - our expectations, from the reviews we'd read, were high and we weren't disappointed. The story was based on a conspiracy theory about the death of Pope John Paul I, it was engaging and raised all sorts of complex, interesting issues. David Suchet, who we'd seen do a memorable reading at All Souls a number of years ago, was amazing.
