We’ve just finished a re-organisation of our furniture in our house. The small bedroom at the front of our house is now a large ‘walk in robe’. The babies are all set to start off in our room. The spare bedroom remains for anyone who is crazy enough to want to stay with us.

Looks nice Matt, but you may find it better not to have the babies in the same room as yourself because (a) You will wake them up (b) They will wake you up snuffling and snorting and crying ( c) You need privacy. - Just my opinion for what its worth.
Just for the record, I could not stand the noise of the baby in our room, only lasted 1 night and then it was far away. They will always cry loudly enough for you to hear them.
Guess it's just as well the 'cots' are so easily moved!
Lovely to see them up and ready for occupation!
The World Health Organisation recommends babies sleep in their parents room for the first 6 months. The most I've heard anyone last was about 10 weeks (and that's far longer than anyone else I know of). Would be interested to hear of anyone that lasted beyond a couple of days. I'm betting on a week for us... but only time will tell.
I'm buying earplugs
In that case, Anna had better sharpen up her elbows!
Matt, Suggest you buy top quality ones!!
