Motor Show

I was fortunate enough to go to the London Motor Show today. I was reminded of how much I can be impressed by cars, which I'd long since forgotten having stopped working with them years ago.

My observations were:

* The discriminatory hiring practices of car makers are the same the world over. The women they hire to hand out brochures and pretend to give knowledgeable information on the cars are certainly not selected on merit! The more prestigious the marque the more discriminating they are.

* The punters couldn't give two hoots about the eco cars.

* The Alfa stand served much, much better coffee than the Hyundai stand.

* This show, despite being in London and (like most big European motor shows) only every two years is no better than the annual Melbourne Motor Show.
