After 4 years it's time to update my computer. Should I get a Mac? They are plainly a thousand times cooler than a Windows PC, my biggest concern is compatability and software issues.
You're a geek if you get a mac! They do look cool but so do the new HPs....they also look very cool and you wouldn't run into any of your compatibility problems.
Yeah you'd be a real geek to get a Mac. Let's face it, the only reason you'd get a Mac is for image.
You'd be much better off getting a PC, like Sime said, the new ones out these days are pretty cool as well as being cheaper and a system you already know. Well done!
My experience with Macs (Post PCs) says Mac. Should you need a specialist app only available on Windows, the new Mac's have Intel chips and you can run Windows on them anyway (though from what I here don't bother with Vista yet) And consider this - Macs and Linux systems remain relatively untroubled by malware, because if you're after money you go where the most users are - Windows (from The Guardian)
