I have to make a mention of the Body Shop. I love their products, well one of their products, but every day I walk past their store in Waterloo Station and laugh to myself - 'Activate Self Esteem', 'Support Community Trade', 'Stop Testing on Animals' are permanently and conspicuously plastered all across the store windows.
Body Shop is owned by L'Oreal, the largest cosmetics company in the world. Do you think they're serious about their marketing slogans?........Neither do I. But hey, at least the average punter feels good about shopping there!
