Tofu '08

The Great Tri-annual Tofu Count has, by popular demand, become the Great Annual Tofu Count.

As noted in the previous post; Piedemonte's has lost its crown. It was good to see Piedemonte's press ahead and increase their tofu count (27 in 2004, 24 in 2007) to 28 different varieties.

Unfortunately it was not enough to beat the new starter on the leftist food circuit of Macro Wholefoods Market on Bridge Road in Richmond. It stocks 33 different varieties for the tofu aficionado.
