Brandon James Thomas

A little over 12 months ago my mum was protesting about not having any grandchildren. With the arrival of little Brandon James Thomas in Vancouver she now has three!

I don't have a picture of him yet but if you watch Simon's blog I'm pretty sure he'll make an appearance very shortly. Congratulations Skinny & Cammie and I didn't know you liked Beverly Hills 90210 that much!

Here is a paragraph about S&K from my mum's 'news' email sent to Australia:

"They take such delight in each other and are so pleased to see each other when they get up in the morning and after their sleeps, and they are so funny together. It took them until just before I left to realise that they could actually crawl out of the living room rather than just around it. It had been quite safe to leave the room to get on with things and check on them every few minutes by peeping around the door, but one day I heard this wicked giggling and found Kate with her head poking out of the doorway into the hall. From then on, whenever they tried to 'escape' from the living room, we would hear loud giggling as one or the other would lead the way! It was apparently hysterically funny for them and in turn for us! They did the same thing at Penny & Godfrey's place on Sunday, crawling out of the lounge room into their hallway! I told them they would never be able to get away with mischief if they continued to alert the adults by their giggling!
