He's a sad, unfortunate character. He would have been a terrible PM but I feel sorry for him over the way he's been chewed up and spat out by public life. Despite being a bit of a thug with a dirty mouth he did have much more to offer his country.
What he has said recently isn't the whole story, or a balanced analysis, but it does have some ring of truth to it and warrants some thinking about. Also, a side thought, isn't it interesting how predecessors of political party leaders who weren't nearly as successful as the incumbent seem to feel compelled to throw insults from the sidelines.....case in point Messrs Fraser & Hewson.
